Not as it happened: with new components everything works, but not so good, but I cannot understand why old version now work at all?

The only thing I cannot understand now how I didn't noticed that thing before, because when I ran into these problems - I was little confused and I thought everything is broken but in the same time there is huge difference in work compared to CapSence 5.1 at that settings that I had before. That is why I didn’t even know where to look, but then I rolled back to the very beginning and noticed what the problem was.

Hm that almost sounds like too much parasitic capacitance. What was your finger capacitance set to btw

It can be, but now everything works great and I finally almost completely assembled my controller, so now I like it. But now I think now how to make new controller, somehow may be with using your elements, especially for slider :)))

Little shock: updated PSOC Creator and components to current versions, esp. CapSence from 5.1 to 7.0 and everything works lightning fast!

        on slider
        cy_boot from 5.7 to 5.9
        em_EEPROM_Dynamic from 2.0 to 2.2
        LIN_Dynamic from 4.0 to 5.0
And so incredible results only by recompiling program with new components!
Of course, some points will need to be checked in more detail, maybe I'm wrong somewhere, but more shockable that now slider significantly more responsive even with PCB with ground hatching!

Today received my 3rd version of PCB for slider. Have hope finally it will work well :)))

What did you use for the finger capacitance value? You might want to reduce it a little if it's currently really high. Looks like it's struggling to pick up any touches.

At this video it's about 0,2pF, maybe, but ideal for copper tape, installed to my controller was 0,54pF. I changed settings when seached answers on questions, that I discribed in video, but then I'll chenge it back or find better value, also I'll make some other changes, so I'm not in hurry now :)

But I do not really remember about settings. I think it's doesn't metter now. I just wanted to show that something that I thought would be better in result turned into a failture, but now I understand what it means better

Damn.. some problems with slider PCBs: it's somehow looks like signal from it very slow. I'll upload some video about it soon..

Stop, what you mean on shield hatching? If I connect this hatching that I made to shield - it will not be a shield hatching? But I tested this variat too and it works better, but only in a little bit, not enough to play with that.

I think the biggest problem for your approach is the wires may be too long and thick for large sensors like the slider. I rolled out my own board not just for the look, but also for finer controls on the sensor trace width and length.

No, wires not a problem at this moment :) (already checked) and I have hope to record tomorrow that video that I said before, because I prepared to show all cases and there will be a shock-content :D

60 led/m WS2812B LED strip amazingly fits to slider PCB because one LED sigment equal to 1 slider sigment, so it needs only installation :)

More then month ago received slider PCB and I have hope finally to install it to my controller very soon with LED strip.
