The glued in part is to make sure that my hand won't hit anything like plastic clips or screws when I swipe through while holding buttons. I'm not a huge fan of glued in parts but I made an exception on this since the alternative designs are difficult to execute correctly.

Well in this case they did a realy bad job on it. I implemented the mode on my controller with only 22 lines of code change :P
