    No problem.

Today I took the main buttons apart to clean them as i never popped the clear dome cover off last time I had them apart.

So I scanned the button symbols while I had them out...

    A couple of updates....

I got hold of an AIME card and have proved the card reader works...

Not much use without the ALl.net connection though.

Months before I got the cabinet I bought this card artwork that attaches to the side...

But my cabinet didn't include the whole bracket to attach it to, only the first part that screws behind the speaker cover. so I had one made by an eBay seller...

Just waiting for some suitable screws to arrive, so tape and a peg will do for now...

It's either a small world, or there are Miku fans everywhere!

I recently got some new cupboards for all the Miku stuff and painted the wall grey instead of green as seen on the previous page...

The cabinet is now using all the original cables, as previously I was still using a serial to USB adapter for the slider but now it's connected via it's proper cable on the small board at the top. The serial cable for the touch screen is now more neatly attached in the old keychip hole instead of just being a loose cable...

    And a finishing touch...

And lastly I finally got around to making a gameplay video, I may do more now and then too...

I believe I've commented on one of your videos showcasing this project, but great job! I finally have a decently spec'd spare PC I put together with parts I had laying around (with an EVGA GTX 660 Ti I got offa eBay that came in yesterday) and I'd really like to plan out a cabinet build (be it from scratch, or if I get a dead cab and modify it for Diva). My first concern is display size... What size display does Sega use there? I don't necessarily want the same exact panel, since I'd wanna go with a flat panel CRT if those exist so as to minimize input delay/lag/audio video sync. I'm sure you could get an off the shelf LCD display or TV and connect the video portion over DVI or VGA or something and run the audio to speakers separately, but I'm just weighing my options. Thanks in advance!

Sega use a 21.5" YTE RLMV215H 1080p screen, but the game runs at 720p (the Sega Nu isn't powerful enough to run it a 1080p at full speed), and uses DVI. The cabinet has a touchscreen but this is a seperate glass layer over the monitor. The display sega used is good but nowhere close to modern gaming or IPS monitors, it's an industrial monitor designed to last years more so than have perfect colour and viewing angles etc.

One option that I was considering before getting the cab was a HANNspree HT225HPB which is a touch screen 21.5-Inch display, but a bit expensive, and would probably give a better picture than the real thing.

This cab owners video shows the original screens lag test of about 20-30ms...

Sorry for bumping this thread over a month after the last post, but do you happen to know the dimensions of the cab?

Any specific sections or just the overall size? I can reply later with them.
