    Bakemonogatari (Bakemono = Ghost, Monogatari = Story)

    Story in a nutshell:
    Guy is bitten by a vampire, but survives and is turned back into a human - some effects stay, though - like quicker healing and the ability to sense paranormal stuff. Thus, he frequently runs into incidents like that because every single being in that city seems to be possessed by a god, demon, spirit or something else.

    Also the ED is composed by ryo and performed by supercell. \o/

    It has finsihed airing, 12 episodes have been shown on TV, 3 streamed exclusively on the internet. A sequel, Nisemonogatari, is planned to air on 7th January.

    It's not streaming on sites like crunchyroll - you will have to hit the other sources, or look for it on torrent sites like nyaa.eu.

    Bakemonogatari is one of my favorite anime, its style and story are really unique. I can't wait to see the sequel Nisemonogatari, and the prequel movie, Kizumonogatari.

    Yeah, Nisemonogatari starts airing tomorrow. It also seems crunchyroll will simulcast it... sadly it's unaccessible by most of Europe, so I'll have to wait for a sub to appear on Nyaa. D:

    So, what are your thoughts about Nisemonogatari so far? I read lots of people complaining about the slow pace storyline and the big amount of fanservice (the anime is sometime really strange...). Just as Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari is way unlike any other anime, from the art style to the story.

    Yeah, the amount of fanservice is way too high. Can't complain about the storyline though, I really like it. Can't wait for the next arc.

    My mate introduced me to Bakemonogatari just the other week! It makes me wonder how many great animes i don't know about yet because i absolutely loved that one XD

    bakemono is more monster than ghost ^^
    And I like these series , apparently there are 3 more to be adaptated in anime

    and yes , there are a bit of fanservice in the latter , I remember that toothbrush scene ... :D
