Any [Any] Pokemon, to migrate or not?

    Do you transfer your pokemon from a previous game to a new one when you first get it or do you like to start fresh and re-capture every single one you can again? I always prefer to catch them again, only transferring ones that either came from events or otherwise cannot be obtained in that game.

    I always transfer. I have a weird way of playing Pokemon (my friends call it a bro-through), I will NEVER catch more than 6 Pokemon because if it was a real life situation, I'd feel bad just leaving a living creature in a PC to just sit there for the rest of eternity (bonding with pixels, I'm so lame xD). So, whenever a new game comes out, I transfer ASAP to keep my babies with me at all times.

    Speaking of event Pokemon and transferring, I remember getting all 3 of the Shiny Beasts from Gamestop and transferring them along with my Meganium, Giratina, and the rest of my team to my Black ver. only to have the game never to start up again. My game is just dead broken, I can't even get to the main menu to start a new save if I wanted, I load the cart and I get the stupid error message.
    So I started fresh on my Pokemon life span on my tablet emulator with Firered and with the help of technology, a friend, and buying a new copy of Pokemon Black, I plan to get my new babies onto Y when it releases.

    Can't wait to see them go beyond the 3rd gen sprites and into full 3D polygons!

    I feel as if I made this a little too long xD

    I usually transfer early in the game, though with the new X/Y I'm not sure if I'll be able to :(

    I'm sure you'll be able to transfer, fans were pretty pissed when they took that option out of RSEFrLg and they won't make that mistake again xD
