So I've decided to start watching Anime again, thing is that I don't really know where to begin. Any suggestions will do, it doesn't have to be a new series but I'd appreciate something that has some good deep content if possible. I'm more for the story than anything else. The kind of genre's that I'm into are the following: Fantasy, Action, Romantic. Someone recommended to me "Eden of the East" so I think I might start with that but I would like to have a list to finish up the year so I can get back into the swing of things.

"Chuunibyou demo, Koi ga Shitai!" (literal translation is "Despite Chuunibyou, I want a date!", but I prefer the unofficial "Chuunibyou, Love and other Delusions") has everything you mentioned. Telling the story of two former and two current "Chuunibyou" patients, Kyoto Animation is really putting everything into this. Epic fight scenes followed by comedy scenes with excellent group dynamic, and great animation. Definely one of the best anime this season.

And even though it's a 2010 anime, "Angel Beats!" might be another one. It plays in a post-death world, where a group of teenagers who are unhappy with the life they had want to meet God and kick his rearside. Excellent animation, the only sad thing is that they had to shorten the series from 24 to 12 episodes, so in some places the character development gets reduced or even skipped. Still a great anime, and it's on Crunchyroll for free, too.

Thank you for those suggestions Suyo, I can't tell you how much I'm loving Chuunibyou! I'm already going to be 4 episodes into it and that look on Yuuta's face when Shinka say's she wants to join the club was priceless. I haven't seen Angel Beats quite yet but I do plan on watching it soon. What I'm going to do is probably have those episodes encoding ahead of time so that I can just pop them open later. Streaming sites are fine but I like to take things a step further and search for a good subbing group, download what they have and convert it to my PSP so I can watch it anywhere I go.

I've just been re-watching Ao no Exorcist (or Blue Exorcist) and would recommend it, I don't know if you've already seen/read it. It's mostly action-based and typical shounen. It's fantasy too, of course, with the main character being the son of Satan. I wasn't sure when I read about it at first, but I've got to admit I kind of liked it xD

And, uh, I've been thinking about it, but I can't seem to come up with anything else >.< Even though I've seen quite a few animes, but I suppose I'm personally not into romantic/fantasy stuff.

That's fine, any suggestion in any of those genre's is greatly appreciated. I haven't seen that one yet but it's now added to my list.

    > Romantic

Ever seen Toradora? What about ef: a tale of memories (and it's sequel, ef: a tale of melodies)? Those are my top 2 anime (in that order). Toradora is a romantic comedy and ef is more of a romance drama.

I haven't seen Toradora but it's on my list now. I have seen memories but stalled on melodies due to school issues last year but I plan on picking back up on that again.

    Pick from the list:
    (1) Accel World or Sword Art Online - both anime are made by one author so there is a huge similarities between them; little romance/love but mostly on battle/fighting
    (2) Girls und Panzer - highschooler girls driving tanks and fighting via school vs school
    (3) Toradora - old school but this one is the best love story anime i've ever seen (little flaws)
    (4) Kimikiss or Amagami S1 and S2 (known as Amagami SS+) - Kimikiss is based from date-sim game and is an old school while Amagami is quiet new esp the S2
    (5) Code Geass S1 and S2 - if u haven't watched this, its worth ur time (mecha and int battle anime). This one hits the top 10 best
    (6) Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha S1, S2 (A's) and S3 (StrikerS) - if u r fond of magical girls, then u should include this (though the first season doesnt kick much but getting definitely better as more season adds up). In manga, the fourth season is named Vivid
    (7) Clannad After Story - definitely must watch but its more on drama with love story

    - I've been watching Sword Art Online a lot but will try Accel World as well.

    - Well if it's anything like Gunslinger Girl then I might take a look.

    - Added that to the list earlier, still need to download it and watch it. Most likely after Angel Beats *Up to episode 11 at the moment*.

    - I'm always a bit skeptical about shows based on dating simulation game as some of them end up border-lining on porn, if it has a good story to it then I'll look into it.

    - I agree heavily with that statement, haven't seen Akito the Exiled yet but I'll get to it after Eureka Seven AO.

    - Not really into magical girls but then again I did like Cardcaptor Sakura so it might fall under the same lines I guess.

    - I've been thinking about watching Clannad from the beginning. I might view it after I'm done with Yoake Mae Yori Ruriiro Na - Crescent Love -
    - - - -

Additionally I would like to see Black☆Rock Shooter and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya as I think I'm one of the few people that has not seen them yet.
